Hot off the press: Felix Dickinson & Nick The Record

nicktherecordCatching our ears amongst the new releases this week, arch diggers Felix Dickinson and Nick The Record have joined forces to serve up this great little 12″ for Tokyo based Ene Records.

With an already impressive catalogue that features production from the likes of Eric Duncan, Tiago, Lord of The Isles and Coyote, Ene’s ethos is very much focused on delivering music of quality that you can really take your time to savour.

The dynamic duo of Felix Dickinson & Nick The Record team up for the “Unbreakable” EP and is the japanese label’s 15th release. With the added keyboard playing skills of Kaidi Tatham – A side track “Unbreakable” is a cosy touch of the deepest of deep house with more than a nod to the celestial vibes of Ron Trent, beautifully embelished by the skills of Taitham.  “First Fruit” on the flip veers more into electro infused squeltch territory, with an added touch of Beat Down flavour for good measure that should definitely keep those feet sweet come the early hours.
