In memory of Mark Bell

Mark Bell - RIPIt is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Mark Bell yesterday.

A true legend in his own musical right, not to mention being a stand up bloke – our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time. A breakdancer in his teenage years, Bell was one half of seminal Warp Records act LFO: aruguably one of the most important pioneering electronic music acts to emerge from the North of England in the early 1990s. Responsible for the classic 1991 LP “Frequencies” and the effervescent LFO – LFO, Bell’s career blossomed post-techno, going on to produce for the likes of Björk and Depeche Mode.

His talents will be sorely missed…
